We are to leave an above type of life in a below kind of world.\

1 John 3:1-3

Set your minds on things above so you can put off the old and put on the new.

• Colossians 3:5-10
• The first set of 5 focuses on sins of desire with an emphasis on sexual deviance.
• The second set of 5 focuses on sins of anger with an emphasis on speech.

How sin works:

• Rebellion
• Idolatry
• Corruption
• Bondage
• Depravity and despair

Colossians 3:10 says you are being renewed in knowledge in the image of your creator!
