An Easter Sunday recap
On Easter Sunday, we encouraged you to trust in the truth and power of the resurrection. Jesus didnāt come to make bad people good;Ā He came to make dead people alive. He gives us new life!
More than 1,800 adults and children joined us on Sunday morning, and we celebrated the baptisms of Brady and Daniel Heseman. Plus, we practiced Kingdom giving by supporting the Make it Better initiative at Maranatha Bible Camp by giving $40,000. If you would still like to give to these facility improvement projects, you can give online by selecting the Easter Offering designation.
If you missed our Easter service, you can listen online or watch it on YouTube.
Just a note: We had plenty of room for more in our 7:30, 8:45 and 11:30 Easter services, so please consider going to one of these services next year. Our 10:15 serviceĀ had most of our guests as well as many regular attenders, with over 690Ā adults in that service alone! Six hundred were in the Worship Center, 82 participated from an overflow room in our basement, and others watched the screens in our nursery lobby and main lobby. We know our Worship Center has its size limitations, so we thank you for helping us make room for more!
Thank you to our volunteers!
Our Northside staff team also wanted to pass along a special thanks to our amazing volunteer team who prepped coffee, braved the rain to greet at the car line, prepared our Worship Center before each service, loaded in extra chairs to make more room, helped in our overflow room, rocked babies, taught children and more! Your willingness to serve above and beyond made EasterĀ Sunday possible.
